Completely agree and you make a good point with choosing the right club. I don’t think Sarginson, Tomkins or Mossop made the right choice of club and it turned out bad for them.

It'll be interesting to see how Sutton goes this term, will it be a case of steady as he goes and carries on or a case of the dreaded second season syndrome?

There's got to be some young lads out there who would gladly sacrifice a starting position and probable trophy success on a good wage in SL for a NRL reserve team/occasional first team place on a decent wage but along with the fantastic lifestyle over in Aus.

A bit like a student gap year but with good money.

I don't blame the lads. I blame the British game for abjectly and repeatedly failing to find ways to make it worth their while staying here.

How can they, when all the money and media attention now in this country is in Rugby Union and in Australia, the NRL which in the states of New South Wales and Queensland does not have the massive competition and media attention of Football like this country.

Where club rugby in our country is concerned, the pendulum has moved the other way with the likes of former small clubs in Union like Saracens and Sale now as big and getting more media attention than clubs in our game like Leed and Wigan.

not much use to us when the owner isnt even willing to spend the cap....
