Not in and of itself. A hate incident for example is not considered a criminal act. If I were to be verbally abusive and use race as part of that, then it becomes a hate crime.

In any case, wether it is illegal or not, is Tony Clubb on trial? If not, then this whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing doesn't apply to me or you. It applies to prosecution and the courts.

Well he will effectively be on trial with the RFL (who make the laws that he needs to abide by) who in order to ban him will have to prove he is guilty of the alleged accusation. So until they are able to do that he is...erm.....what's the word again...........

And the RFL will follow due process. Have the RFL banned him without evidence? Have the crown prosecuted him without evidence? No they haven't so you can all stop with the "whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty" because that only applies to the process, whatever that may be, not not to people on forums or social media.

Next time we play Warrington or Saints and i hear 'You Warrington/St Helens Baaastards' i will report it to a steward for racism as calling somebody names because of where they are from is now deemed as racist allegedly. It seems that if your skin colour isn't white then you can cite racism for anything these days and the media hop all over it. Some people need educating on what racism really is because the world has gone pathetically soft. Being forced to apologize for things that happened 200 years ago etc. Frig off and grow some balls. Jesus, some folk would have heart attacks if they heard the kind of stuff we called each other at work. Its called banter, some folk should try it, either that or wear a t-shirt that says 'i am offended by everything' so normal folk can automatically ignore you from the off.
