I think we’ll see Flower move on this season at some point tbh and then didn’t somebody say the Clubb deal is one year plus an option of a second for the club, rather than an out and out two years. If that’s the case I’d be looking to thank both for their service and trying to replace them with one front row leader. If Burgess can get fit then a new prop, Burgess, Bullock, Partington, Clark, Byrne and Havard looks good to me. We’ll also have Lockers retiring, so a player who could switch between loose forward and prop, in the mould of Sao who played well for Hull yesterday (somebody like him because we’ll have no chance of get him) would be welcome.
Next years recruitment will be really interesting. With Harry Smith looking all class, a replacement for Tommy would ideally another player who can shift between 7 and 9 but there’s not many about. A lot will depend on Hastings I suppose in terms of what we need.
