I'm not a fan of Dwyer either, and obv with Currie the concern would be his injuries.

The report I saw from the League Express the other day is that they’re very eager to keep him and are confident of fighting off interest in him.

If so, they'll be elasticating the Salary Cap in a way I've never seen before. To have Inglis, Widdop, Currie, Josh Jones etc. For all that Simon Moran's a clever guy, you'd have to suspect that something there will give.

we are interested in keeping currie, however prior to his ACL against you guys back in 2016, he was on the verge of being the best 2nd rower in the northern hemisphere and got a contract to reflect that, i believe he's trying to get similar money now and we're negotiating lower. cos at the moment, he's not 2016 ben currie anymore, we've stood by him through 2 knee reconstructions, and his form last year was pretty average, granted everyone was just happy to get him back on the field and not hold their breath every time he went into a tackle like what happened in 2018.

Dwyer signging for you would be hilarious, we had leeds fans last year trying to convince us he was brilliant, but that just shows how far their standards have fallen.

He'll run around a lot, look very very busy but he doesn't follow game plans well and is like a dog chasing a car.

Wouldn’t want Currie, myself. Injury prone and not big enough, for me. Our pack has lacked size for years and he won’t fix that.

He's 6'1" and 16st 1lb, taller and heavier than our current second rows and bigger than than John Bateman was.
I'd swop him for Greenwood in an instance.

Doesn’t Currie play on the left? Last thing we need is another left sided second rower who can’t play on the right and he ain’t better than Farrell
