Was that the one that came from all the Twitter polls? Every time I voted in them a Leeds player was miles ahead on 40/50%, basically just a popularity vote.

Through Sky the one I’m on about but it’s probably the same. Yeah Leeds dominated and rightfully so but a couple were ridiculous. It’s always going to happen that it’ll be railroaded bu supporters but it was left open to that with some crazy nominations. The hooking position was pure madness. How on earth Terry Newton didn’t get nominated as one of five hookers is just a shambles. You had Danny Houghton as one of the five. A player not in Newton’s league for my money but even if he is, his main exploits have come in the challenge cup. They also put Rob Burrow in there but he played mostly at scrum half, with him appearing at hooker in his later career, with plenty of those as an impact player from the bench. I’m pretty sure it was a Yorkie who was coming up with the selections.

If you go back X many years, leeds supporters were extremely frustrated with burrow playing at hooker, he couldn't defend there full time and they wanted a proper 9 signed, and thought it was time to move him on.

Suits everyone IMO. Cas have lost Rankin as he's gone back to Australia, so Evalds can move there immediately and we finally get Escare off the books.

Under normal circumstances you would think there would be a huge change this off season but I wonder if Covid will keep it under wraps. Could be at least 5 big earners leaving.
