It’s great recognition that nine lads of the current U16’s have been selected for England – This just shows how strong they are as team.

Like Rouges has quite rightly pointed out we may lose Kyle as he’s a talented football player as well, and has been offered a scholarship with the football team he plays for, and I don’t think they’re too happy with him playing Rugby.

Nick is a lose/back rower all day long, very strong and elusive runner with a good pair of hands. David Thompson and Oliver Gildart are two very good centres, very quick and very athletic. Jake Shorrocks is a very good half back, great pair of hands, with great vision and a good organiser. Brad Lawerance & Joe Bretherton are big strong front rowers/back rowers and don’t take a backward step. Luke Waterworth is a good organising hooker who likes to run from dummy half and Gabe Fell is a very quick elusive fullback.

There’s also plenty of very talented lads that haven’t been recognised by England who are pushing very hard for selection.

Five of the nine Wigan players selected all play for the current U16’s St Pats team. Who have just gone unbeaten in the current season that’s just finished – League Champions and Play Off Champions!

There’s also plenty of talent in the new U15’s. Some seriously big lads for U15’s, with plenty of pace and skill.

I forgot to mention Waterworth. He's a hooker / dummy half who can pass quickly accurately from the floor (hallelujah) and chose the right pass to bring players onto the ball. His decision making is very good, knowing when to pass and when to have a scoot.

Someone mentioned making a move for Gasnier. I've heard that Newcastle are after him for next year. I'm sure Wayne Bennett could get a vintage season out if him.

didn't he retire a year early from hes contract? if he does move to newcastle or to superleague wouldn't the dragons be looking for some compensation?

Gasnier is a flake. You could sign him on a 2-year deal in December, and he'd have walked out of the contract by February because no-one told him it was going to be wet and cold.

IF the Myler rumour is true, and he is subsequently available, would you go out of your way to sign him?

He's not the playmaking kicker we've been after, but he's young, he's good, and he's English.

No because he isnt that good imo. If hes available on the right deal and Wane wants him then fair enough but i wouldnt go out my way to get him.
