Exactly, and if your going to take a risk, take it on someone who's earned it and is likely to be a long term option. Not an australian winger who's leaving in a year and hasn't lit the reserves up the last 12 months.

I'm all for giving Amos a chance, but not at centre. He has to get his spot back in his actual position first, that's the challenge first and foremost.

Goulding has had 1 good season at Wigan imho and that was when Gleeson made him look good. Do not want him at centre in any way shape or form. I'd stick him on the wing outside Charnley at a push.

The fact is, everything in my post is pretty much correct and you cant think of anything to defend Goulding, can you? He is never a Wigan centre in the memory of man and if you put it on a poll on here im willing to bet that the majority of Wigan fans feel the same.

Id play Charnley centre before Goulding, and if Gelling is half as good as Carmont he'd be the other centre with Charnley on the wing. No brainer for me. If Roberts can rediscover any kind of form we have options at centre, Goulding can be a back up winger.
