Not sure where all the Bibby negativity is coming from?

He's been excellent these last few weeks, especially in defence where he's smashed Mr Golden Balls Tom Johnson into next week too.

The lad is bang average.
Solid and safe, yes. But he’s like a magnolia paint. Suppose that’s the bang average produce we have in the salary cap era of a sport with next to no revenue streams (even before covid).

He's OOC at Salford and they want to keep him. I suspect he hadn't signed yet because the majority of SL clubs are also trying to sign him. He's not coming here for reserve winger's wages. I'm not sure we have cap room for a reserve winger at all, never mind one of the best starting wingers in the competition.

Not sure that is the case, I think Salford may well be looking to let him go.

They have Sio and Burgess coming in and 2 or 3 other squad wingers.

Inu will be 34 by the time we start SL next year and I genuinely don’t think there will be a major clamour for his signature unless clubs have a “need”.

We clearly have a need and I don’t think many others do except perhaps the new team whoever that may be.

Wouldn’t expect him to be in a position to command a big wage.

Inu has been good for Salford but without sounding disrespectful, there’s a reason he’s at Salford and not a top 4 club. He’s also 34, no spring chicken. Whilst he would be reserve, it’s a gamble we don’t need to take.

I agree and his best attribute his probably his goal kicking which he probably would do anyway if he wasn’t a regular, the few times Hankinson has played this year he’s not taken over kicking duties despite being much better than Zak.

No surprise that Bibby has started to look decent since moving to the right wing - a position where he played his best rugby for Salford. He might prefer centre but he looks a winger all day to me.

A real shame that Burgess is leaving just as he's getting back to his best - its taken a while but he's a classy player on form. I imagine if Marshall had picked up the injury earlier in the season Joe would have been signed up.

Sort George Burgess out and if that is not possible then replace him and we are set fine.

Regarding wingers, I thought we may have tried to resign Matty Russell.
