I think we’ll see he has more to him than that and can adapt to having different types of players at his disposal.

I must say that Lam has got a lot more out of Powell than Wane ever did,now whether that's down to how Wane wanted him to play or whether it's down to Lam's good coaching i don't know but i never knew that Powell was that good

I think that is down to coaching / tactics employed

i always look at Micky McIllorum, he very rarely ran from hooker but when playing for Ireland did it on a regular basis.

i'm not criticising Wane for that as he must have had a reason to use the run option from dummy half so little, but the hookers we have had play under him could have been more dynamic from that perspective if they were instructed to do so

I do agree on that individual player but then I suppose Wane would say what he got out of Sam Powell was two Grand Final wins and a WCC win with him as starting hooker. I’m not saying Lam is wrong to give Powell a bit more freedom but if playing your props and hookers in a limited manner from an attacking point of view brings you trophies, you can’t blame a guy for doing it. Hopefully Lam will get his first major trophy on the board next year and put any doubts to bed.

Expect Clarke to be the next announced to be moving on.

Not a shock I know but his departure should be wrapped up soon.

What a disappointing signing, honestly thought he would be the metre maker we needed but look so ineffective all year.

Wouldn’t have minded seeing him after another “Wigan” preseason, but got to trust the club to self scout this one.
