Even if he did go in no way would French play in the halves. Everyone knows that. Wells just adding fuel to a fire that had been on the verge of being snubbed out.

Not sure how he keeps his job on sky given his other role.

Imagine the meltdown if Rads was on sky every week? And that's just from our fans!!

Overall I think Wells is very good but that was odd indeed. If JH was to go to the NRL surely he wouldn't have got on a plane over here?
He's back here and playing so where's the basis for what Wells' statement?.
JH wasn't stand out but was was a great link tonight and played well.
As for the fb position, Zac has to be in pole position with Bevan having to fight for his place.

I think we might see Bevan on the wing with Hanley dropping out. Or Bibby moving to centre with Fax/Isa moving into the pack.

On current form from Hardaker it’s French to wing without doubt.

I wouldn't say without doubt, because French was tearing it up last year, but it is the way I'd go too because French is a better wing option than Hardaker.

I’m thinking more a better wing option that Hanley.

I was dead against Hardaker back to 1 but his current form it’s hard to drop him.

Lam suggested Manfredi and Gildart are a good few weeks away, so it may just have to be what suits the team the best. I think ideally you want as many natural backs in the 1-5 shirts as possible. On that basis I’d probably keep Hanley where is is, put Hardaker back in to the centres and French in at fullback. It’s either that or French on the wing and Bibby moving in to centre.

I was genuinely surprised with the gas he showed. I know it was to tongue in cheek, but another poster said Zak will probably get tested after the match as he looked that much quicker.

If Hardaker keeps on at this level I.e form that's up there with some of his best, he's a superior player to French.

I’d say different player to French not a superior player.

Different style.
