The way things are shaping up I can see Gildart and Bibby becoming our first choice centres.

You can’t drop Bibby on current form and not just because of the tried he is scoring.

That’s probably what I’d go with if Zak keeps his form up but I think Lam will slot French back in at full back after maybe a game or 2 on the wing to regain match fitness.

If Hardaker keeps on at this level I.e form that's up there with some of his best, he's a superior player to French.

A Hardaker at the top of his form could be an absolute game changer for Wigan. I’ve read varying opinions on his time here so far, with some saying he’s been brilliant, some saying he’s been nowhere near his best and some (including me) sitting somewhere in between. He’s been decent for us up until this season IMO but in the first two games of this season so far he’s been vintage Hardaker. If we can get the best out of him, French, Hastings, Gildart, Manfredi and Marshall at some point this season as a collective, then no team can match that and by some distance.

Personally not a fan of playing French anywhere other than fullback but I'd be fine with him playing on the wing for a few weeks until Manfredi/Marshall return. Hardaker's played well for a couple of games but was generally average in 2019 (whole team was in fairness) - let's see how he goes against Leeds and Castleford coming up.

If Hardaker doesn't play centre, then Isa or Bibby have to be there long-term (don't like that prospect). Playing Bevan in the halves isn't a good option for me - he needs as much space as possible to maximise his effectiveness. Let's also not forget how good Bevan was last year at #1.

The team will be as last year for the grand final with Manfredi replacing Budgy.

Marshy doesnt return until June / July and im sure we will get injuries at some point. Otherwise its healthy competition for places.
