I've not read anything regarding his Northampton departure. What's happened?

Well if he has done the shirt photo thing he's been a bit of a dick. Someone alluded to that last week but didn't show any evidence. I've looked on the internet and I can't find any proof of this. Do you have a link?

I was told by saints player two weeks ago who knows Ashton's agent or users same agent (I can't remember) who told me he'd agreed to sign for saracans which I think I'd posted on a thread on saints board, yet he'd told Northampton he was staying, hed agreed the deal with Northampton but hadn't signed.

He was putting off signing until the club (someone called mannislon or something) told him they had took a chance on him, give him the training and skills to go on and play for England, Ashton agreed and said he'd sign on Monday, went home and signed for saracans.

Northampton pulled him in on his first day trai ing after hed signed with saracans and told him to go and not to bother coming back!

He also said hed never play for Wigan again for the way they treated him, I ain't got clue what he means or what went on between him and Wigan.

I just went off the shirt thing from on here, but I'd heard the same as Pete in that he just totally lied to Northampton.

The player was also telling me the French union are putting their salary cap up to £7m and the welsh rugby union are preparing themselves to be raided by the French. They are looking at rugby league players to replace them.

Ashton's agency is James Grant which is unsuprisingly the same agency as represents the Tomkins brothers. I presume they would be referring to Phil Clarke's brother who was bought-out by James Grant and perhaps his stable of players went with him. I know Roby was represented by Clarke and I'm sure others were. Yeah, well those quilty of extremely bad behaviour rarely like to be reminded of it by being confronted by those they shat on.

And before anyone comes out with any of that tired old bullsheizer about 'he was looking after his career', I'm talking about the fans, not messrs. Whelan and Lindsay. They have gone. We have not. Therefore it must be us that the hero of the big World Cup year is talking about.

Anyway, first he'd need to learn how to tackle. And I don't mean by the hair.
