Just what I was thinking.
Loved Dermott and the way Ray French emphasised the "ott"

Dermott, brought through young when we already had a fine hooker in Nicky Kiss. Dermott was better. Would that happen now?

Every way you look at Dermott; passing, defence, scooting, enthusiasm, team morale, bravery (Paul Harrogan
) Derm was pure class.

People talk about how good Greg, Edwards and Hanley were (and they were), but that extra half yard that Derms gave them from the pass was a great help to them.
He's the best passer of a ball I've ever seen from dummy half, fast and accurate.

Derms is the best no.9 I've seen at Wigan, and despite some patchy performances I'd swap both Riddell and McClorum for Newton.

Me too, would have loved to have seen Joe Egan play, my uncle who watched Wigan all his life ( and lived to be 86 ), said Egan was the best he ever saw.
