It's a massive game for me and, should we win, give us a chance to rest players up and clear injuries as i think we look a little jaded at the moment. A week off would do us the world of good.

How can anybody say its pointless? Winning this week makes it easier to win the competition. Are people just saying its pointless because they dont wanna pay or cant make it? This game is anything but pointless especially with the opposition.

That's like saying finishing 1st instead of 8th is pointless as you're "still in the play-offs".

It makes it easier to reach (and thereofre win) the Grand Final. Far from pointless.

But I hope the Wigan players agree and approach it as such (unfortunately I think they're a bit more switched on than you )

I think this is a massive game as firstly we need to get a bit of confidence back after the wire spanking, and secondly I think we desperately need a week off.

Judging the queues down there today, I don't think it's going to be a poor attendance. I reckon it'll be 18-19000 ish which is good for play off standards.

Would be a tremendous effort. Wigan's crowds are fabulous and a real credit to the club.

Then again, it is a lot easier to brainwash stupid people

absolutely, this game is huge, the week off prior to the next game (likely to be against saints) would be fantastic. just refer to the wire/wigan game for how crucial a week off can be.

although we managed it last year so no reason we can't play every week and still win the grand final
