Wigan put the game to bed with three tries in the last six minutes. Sounds like they made hard work of it first half but a great result - Matty Bowen looks like he's going to get the MOM award.

42-16 last few minutes.

Crowd at Millwall - 8,101

Biggest crowd in London for 9 years for a SL game.

Better than expected, well done IL.

Williams and Bowen have been awesome the last couple of months. They have been the difference for us.

Nice win.
I'd like to see the breakdown of ST, casual, home & away and walk-ups. It'll only be a success if there's a good proportion of the curious and potential converts.
With everything being geared towards the other side of the capital, Sky showing Fax & Salford and the ODI on 5LiveXtra, the only comentary was on BBC Manc. We never stood a chance of this being as high profile as IL might have liked. I'd also posit that many of the Business Club that were persuaded to go along for the odd languistine ciabatta are wondering whether they're going to get value for money.

The concept is valid, the timing and location weren't.

Can we now get back to the serious stuff please.

:SLEEPY:

As much as the control freak inside you wants to see it you'll never see that breakdown.

And there was national radio coverage involving Sarginson and Matty Smith which plenty of Londoners will have taken notice of. I'm guessing don't live in London either so you aren't exactly the target demographic that the club was marketing towards.

Williams pass to Bowen for his first (fantastically taken) try was worth the admission money (well If we'd paid any) alone!

Maturing at a rate of knots is Williams.

Good win and a good crowd all considered. Can't believe how controversial this became!

Well that was a lot more than last week's trip to London! But of a shakey start but we played some great stuff in the second half. Bowen was imperious, Williams had some lovely touches although he did make a couple of bad errors. Gildart looked full of confidence and did everything asked of him, scoring one try and making another. Great to see a bit of spark and invention in our attack.

Good 2nd half from Wigan. Bowen had another good game, made a great break off his line. Scott D was laughing at him as he caught him 20-30 yards out - quite amusing.

Gildart showed some nice touches in attack and did well in defence .
