I take it that you walk around Wakefield with your eyes closed? You’ll be telling me that flairs, platform shoes and three star jumpers are still in fashion next.
He hasn’t agreed terms at Wakey for next year yet. He’s publicly said he’d like to stay but with the caveat ‘I hope they can sort something out’. Sounds like he wants more money and who can blame him.
Just announced by Trinity. Dave has signed a three year deal.
Unlike Shaun Edwards, who suddenly realised what he may be coming back to Maybe Fifita believes that he can help Trinity achieve something, after all, it does seem like most clubs would have liked to secure his signature.
Not helping the arrogant Wigan fan stereotype with comments like this. A lot can be said for players who show loyalty to a club, not that many of them about these days. Wakey are a good side these days, wouldn’t be surprised if they make a good run at the CC in the coming years.
What's 'making a good cup run in the CC' a semi final? Do you get a medal for that these days?
No, I mean a decent chance of winning it. Catalan last year, Hull before that, not always the ‘best’ team in the league that wins it.
As I said, you’re just reinforcing stereotypes with your original comment. If by he lacks ambition you mean because he doesn’t want to sign for Wigan, Wakey are currently above us in the league.

I don't necessarily mean just signing for Wigan, he would walk into the Wire, Saints, Cas & Hull squads with ease as well.
Lets see where Wakefield are at the end of the season compared to us. Let's see if they can consistently win enough games to stay above us in the league year on year over the next decade. Doubtful.
Well right now Wakey have a better squad than us and are playing better footy than us. Like many 'smaller' clubs, though, they may suffer badly if they get a few injuries. Personally i welcome the improvement of SL teams: for al the sneers about the comp levelling out to a lowest common denominator, I'd much rather see more sides in contention than everything being a three-horse race between Wigan, Saints, and Leeds. And the logic of that is that teams like Wakey need to keep their best players.
