Think it’ll be to ensure Wigan fans buy and not saints fans.

I disagree with that, we wanted every possible seat full with rugby fans for either team.

Everyone who’s previously purchased will probably already got tickets by now and it’s the more casuals.

If it’s not sold out by Monday/Tuesday they should open it up for everyone.

Away end officially sold out.

This is what infuriates me with some Saints and Wigan fans. I get the hatred, I get the rivalry, I don't want Wigan to win a game unless it benefits Saints or its against the Aussies but the fact is both clubs need each other and moreover SL needs them both.

Wigan fill their allocation at Saints and vice versa. Both clubs take 1000's to away games, both have a thriving Academy and Reserves structure etc.

I remember back in 2006 when Wigan flirted with relegation and whilst there would've been some Saints fans laughing had it happened, lots I know didn't want them to go down due to the state of the game without them.

I won't expand on them cheating the salary cap to stay up

Not one person on the scaff wanted Wigan to stay up. Nor did anyone on the forums. If the boot was on the other foot every Wigan fan would quite rightly want saints to go down.

I would be gutted if Saints got relegated, I may have laughed on the night but then a few hours later I'd be thinking 'who are we going to play on Good Friday..... Wire?' Feck that!!

You really are an utter d+ck! No way would most Wigan fans want Saints to go down. I'm as happy as the next Wiganer to see Saints lose but that's a long way from wanting them relagated. A long way! You really have no idea about rugby league do you? You've either been a "fan" for a very short time or (more likely) you're not an actual rugby league or Saints fan at all.

Stu doesnt suck up to the Wigan fans ever ,he says an opinion in a honest and slightly biased way (towards saints) as it should be, where as you come up with so much drivel and bullsh*t it is hard to figure out if you are of sound mind or not.

We need Saints as much as they need us .

You're obsessed with me. If you don't like what I post then put me on ignore. Dead easy. I also note that you haven't replied to the PM that I sent to you?

It doesn't surprise me that your mates think the same as you. Its that narrow minded vision that means you'll sleepwalk whilst the game is on its backside. When you have 400-500 people watching an U16s game between Saints and Wigan then I think that tells you that they need each other and the game needs both of them

Its not just Wigan. Warrington being relegated last year would've been disastrous. From a financial perspective they give us our second highest home gate of the season after Wigan.

Saints and Leeds suffered more than any other club during Covid as hospitality was obviously banned. Clubs are also still paying back Govt loans so we need as many big clubs in SL as possible.

No doubt you'll send a reply from your Mums computer in her bedroom later when you've had a couple of beers.
