He’s a very marketable player too bizarrely. Got that x-factor and still only 30!

He is nowhere near a superstar.

You really need to trust us on that.

Both Wigan and Leeds fans know what real superstars are.

Zak fleetingly toyed with that status, but that was at the other end of his career. He's been a long way from that now, for quite some time. And the added baggage of not knowing what stupidity he's going to indulge in next only erodes his value more.

But hey, I'm all for letting Mr Hetherington find that out for himself.

The only question I really have is are you, by any chance, one of Zak's Pontefract posse? Because they are surely the only people left on Earth who think as you do.

You've done pretty well for the last year not being the typical Troll that comes on here.

You've blown it

I know your winding people up etc, and I think most people do

But justnfor avoidance of doubt to anyone reading your inane rubbish "Hes winding you up".

Go away, have a chill pill, come back on another subject and try and start to talk some sense

And maybe, just maybe, we'll forget this Whopper

Fair play and I am sorry as I enjoy coming on here. I’ll take a break .
But I just don’t like hypocrisy and I’m trying to point that out, I’ve said the same on our board as we have two players in recent team who have served time, for attacks on women. I pointed this out when we signed them and said how wrong it was, yet not much resistance. Now people are turning on Zak saying some pretty unpleasant things about us resigning him….
He’s done far less!

I love Hardaker being described as ‘very marketable’

I’ll go and speak to Apple or Pepsi and see if they fancy taking him on as an ambassador. “Yeah lads, he’s a dream to work with, he’s only really ever beat a student up, got thrown out of an England World Cup squad for being bladdered, got banned for throwing homophobic abuse at a referee, been banned for taking cocaine, got done for drinking driving and then sacked off from his third club in five years for not bothering turning up for work, where do we sign?”

Hes done enough to be released by Wigan (and I suspect there'll be a little more to it than late for training)

However, your fatal mistake here is trying to tell is what we should think

The club gave him a chance (and maybe it suited both parties at the time) and within a few months he'd nearly blown that.
The fans were 50/50 I would say on him in the first place, but he gradually after the initial blip won a lot over.

He gave us 3 years of decent rugby (trust me mate, after 12 months I commented that although he's been pretty good the main thing having him at FB taught me was just how good Tomkins was) and started playing up in year 3 at the back end of last season.
He did what he wanted and moved back to Yorkshire (and despite peoples opinions either way on that subject The end of the day its his decision do it, so fair enough he lives with that decision) but couldn't maintain the discipline/professionalism required to continue at Wigan

So, end of the day, he created this situation, not Wigan

I'd be pretty confident in saying that a LARGE majority of Wigan fans will back Peet and the club on this and trust them to have done the right thing

You may be excited, feel he's a great signing etc.

But don't try and make the mistake of telling gus what to feel or think about it
We're pretty much 100% happy we did the right thing

And fwiw I do think Fieid is a way better option than Hardaker . That try vs Salford is absolutely breathtaking. You lot are lucky to be watching that week in. Hardaker used to do that for us when he had that pace!
