3 or 4 years ago would have loved it to be true but now the wrong side of 30 do not think it is a viable proposal for us. Would be good publicity for some club to bring him over though at some stage, doubt any of the more ambitious clubs would be interested though.

Andy Powell 4 years ago would have been a strong prop for most league sides for a Union forward he's very athletic and his powerful running at the line is his strongest asset his weakness is his technical ability, sounds like he fits the league mold. As previously stated he's 30 now has his fair share of controversies and the last position we need to cover is prop.

I would take George North off the WRU hands though!

I'm not doubting Owen's ability but I have seen quite a few Sarries games and the two six nations matches he has appeared in and he doesn't seem to have much attacking prowess his game seems to be based on goal kicking and tactical kicking.

He was at the end of his career on a compromised contract Owen Farrell at 20 lacks attack any form of attacking flare and wouldn't get into the Wigan side.

Because thats what Sarries and England RU use him mainly for.

IMO your talking out your backside, Owen Farrell would be a class act in RL as well as RU. He'd get in the Wigan side 100%
