Having thought about it, I'd be happy with Ward for next season but he need an experienced DoR and a preseason to really reverse the damage Lam has done.
For this season we need an experienced pair of hands. You don't want an inexperienced guy coming in and trying to lift a club that's low on confidence. If the world cup gets cancelled, then that should be Wane for a couple of months and he can move upstairs at the end of the year.
