According to IL today in the program notes recruitment is going very well.

Fingers crossed a prop can be brought in for this season.

Sorry about that, I was arguing the point before and said If Ward is good so if Duffy as both were good in the championship and both are bottom of the league and Ward had more resources to finish there

The thing that worries me is that there are enough people in the know on this site and the other one that give all the recruitment updates.

How often does the club announce something that comes as a surprise?

See the club deny a rumour that the mole has made and everyone just looks the other way. People will be back in a week or so still saying he's never wrong.

Leigh have been dealt a shocking hand, no doubt about it and Duffy was harshly treated. If we just look at Ward though and that season he had in Superleague, they won ten games. That was a pretty incredible achievement IMO with a lack of planning time and the lack of real quality in the squad they did pull together. If it’s enough to get him a gig like Wigan I’m not sure but he’s shown some promise.

Having thought about it, I'd be happy with Ward for next season but he need an experienced DoR and a preseason to really reverse the damage Lam has done.

For this season we need an experienced pair of hands. You don't want an inexperienced guy coming in and trying to lift a club that's low on confidence. If the world cup gets cancelled, then that should be Wane for a couple of months and he can move upstairs at the end of the year.

On a separate note, how good was it to see a Wigan 9 run from dummy half and make ground? O’Neill looked excellent in his short spell yesterday.

Maybe I don’t check the site enough but was the George Burgess signing rumoured before it happened? It came out the blue that one for me.
