Flanagan has been so ordinary for the Dogs that they have dumped him. And replaced him with lesser-rated players. That can't be a good sign.
Depends if he brings his dad with him.
To be honest I’d have no issue with Flanagan apart from the elephant on the room which would be Smith.
2 very young inexperienced halves and by the time they had got to an age where they could really take a game on Flanagan would be back on the NRL.
Flanagan is a fantastic prospect but he was given far too much responsibility far too early on his career.
On his day his passing and kicking are sublime.
His confidence however is shot due to the weight of the name he carries and the expectation placed on him after his early run at the Roosters.
Once he found his feet in SL, probably after a few shaky games, I’ve no doubt in my mind he would be a great player to have in a team, it’s the balance with Smith that would concern me in the big games and the weight on their shoulders at such a young age.
