If Gale stays at Leeds they are going to have a lot of high earners and consequently they will need to trim their squad elsewhere. Prior, Tetevano, Gale, Austin and Seizer will not come cheap.

i think my terminology on this was wrong to be fair, but the general point is right

with regards to a SW team, it was very structured from youth to 1st team, so they would almost seamlessly fit in. sat at a game i could tell you that we would receive ball (FB) who would pass to nearest winger, 2nd winger next drive and so on, can you honestly tell me what our current game plan is other than give it to JH or BF? that is where i tried to make a comparison, in that it is harder for them to come into the current side due to lack of structure / game plan

There have been some very good points made on thread which i think we all generally agree about. AL isnt getting the best out of this team, and another coach despite all the issues would get the team performing better than we are saying week in week out

Is Blake Austin that good? Would want a big wage too.

I can’t stand the bloke but he’s better than what we’ve got at present and reportedly taking a wage cut to join Leeds.

Agreed,there’s a very good player in Austin but it seldom shows itself which is a shame because in the right environment he could be a superb signing for someone
