Really poor first half from Smith but a very good second half I thought. His kicking out on the full is becoming a bit tiresome. He needs rollicking for it because he’s gambling too much and trying to be too clever with them sometimes. I suppose it’s a case of what you want from your half. He has more threat and more invention they somebody like Tommy Leuluai but at the minute you’re going to get more errors both in attack and defence then you get from Tommy. I think he’ll settle more if he’s paired with Hastings in the coming weeks.
Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Finding out where someone lives, keeping tabs on whether their car is there or not, and publicly posting it on the internet is crossing a line pal. He should be allowed his privacy.
In regard Hastings, I genuinely believe he could force his way into Origin and International selection assuming they don’t hold his England caps against him.
They won’t hold those caps against him. They’ve got form for stuff like that. Tony Carroll, James Tamou, Adrian Lam, Willie Mason...
A chance to have a look at Hankinson and Miski tomorrow as Broncos v Toulouse is free on the Our League app. MIgnt not be the best showcase for them as Toulouse are really strong
He says Wigan are looking to make the deal. I’m stumped where we’re heading tbh. We’re struggling for quota spots and are seemingly trying to get one of the best British backs in the competition out of the door. How do we replace him? The only way I could accept it as decent business is if we’re pushing for a swap with Trueman or Evalds (and I very much doubt that’s the case).
It feels like we’re going to try and compete at the top end of the table next season, whilst spending at best three quarters of the cap. I’ve always said I don’t expect us to be throwing money around on big money signings at the minute but I also don’t expect us to be pushing to move the good players we do have out the door.

This has waney written all over it.
We signed Zak and got rid of Sam, Waney resigned. Waney returns - ZAK goes.

So we let Budgie leave last year, this year we are losing Gildart, Manfredi, and then we let Hardaker leave?
Is our plan to rely on Marshall, Bibby and the young lads? Obviously we need to see it all play out, but with only that information at present, it's pretty demoralising.
