I'd be tempted to go for Burgess at Bradford as well. We don't really need him at this moment in time BUT when a top youngster like that becomes available we should always be in the mix.

Burgess and Mossop could be the cornerstones of Wigans pack for a decade. I'd also tip them both for long international careers.

You can't put a price on that stability and potential quality imo

I think Burgess would leave for the NRL at the first opportunity though once he is fully established in super league.

Anyone else consider Matty Smith for the Half back/Hooker role? Out of contract at the end of the year, Good kicking game, British and would still leave a lot in the pot cash wise.

5 year deal would sort that and then see how it goes.

Can't be afraid of the what if scenario. He's got more potential than any prop of his age imo and Wigan should always think they can bring it all out of the lad
