Always worries me for the first 15 minutes of games and then he’s zonked. I hope he does sign for them but it sounds like Leeds are pushing to keep him.

I’m not sure why anyone would want to sign him unless they had a bit of spare cap burning a hole in their pocket.

For every eye catching run he does, he also has at least 3 missed tackles, 2 knock ons and 1 brain fart.

Great entertainer but not a quality player.

He's not good enough for saints either. They've just signed Hopoate to play centre so I can't see there being any legs in this.

I could see Saints spelling him in the second row if they do get him. In short bursts in could work better than him playing at centre, where he doesn’t get taken off and looks spent pretty early. They’re certainly going all out for any Tongan players they can get their hands on.

Looks like a few NRL clubs are trying to sign Luke Thompson, think he’s won them over in Oz and the chances of him coming back to Superleague look slim. I know it was always a long shot but the rumour did persist for a while that he was coming to us and I do feel he would transform our pack.
