he pulled up with what was effectively season ending injury and for me he still isnt right. I watched him at the Leeds game, and for someone with electrifying pace, it felt like he was scared to put the effort in. All the talk pre-season was about the pace we had in the backs with French, Field, Marshall etc, but its all been lost through injury

agree re the pre season. We need to have all players back and fit for the start of the season, and lets see how they go

It's one thing I don't understand about some of our fans. I don't understand how they come to some of the decisions that they do. There's no reason, or logic to it.

I think a lot of it comes from fans who haven't ever played the game / coached the game / fully understood the game to a high level.

It’s difficult to comment on how a coach like Briers or John Duffy would go with the attack. I mean they couldn’t do any worse but like Lam, it doesn’t automatically mean a good halfback as a player becomes a good attacking coach. If Briers can bring the same invention and tactical nous in to his coaching that he did as a player than happy days.

Wire board saying the 1st round of play-off games have been switched with us playing on the Thursday (good for me, would've been on nights Friday) no confirmation on the Wigan site, no surprise there, but Wire fans are sure it's a done deal

No guarantee granted but we’ve got to try something. I’d be happy with Briers and Duffy on board. I don’t expect them to get us attacking like Harris/Deacon did but if they got us close it would be a fantastic turnaround.

Mind you just playing attacking rugby would be a start.
