If there’s any truth in it I don’t get the Sio link. He’s a good player and one I’m surprised never dot picked up by a ‘bigger’ club.

We’ve got Marshall, Miski (who I think is a shrewd signing), Halsall and Hanley competing for wing spots, Bibby too but I was assuming he’d move to the centres.

Wouldn’t be a good use of cap/quota IMO.

Agreed, id much prefer we signed another centre who is good enough to be a starter.

Yeah, even if Hardaker and Field were to leave I still wouldn’t understand it.
I noticed the other day Brayden Williame has signed with USA Perpignan in the French league. Do they pay good wages?he’s only 28 and I have always rated him, I would have definitely had him at Wigan.

I can understand Maloney and Micky Mac going part time in France as they are settled over there and are of retirement age, seems odd someone in their prime would go there rather than the Superleague.

USAP are a french elite union side.

They are full time and pay bigger salaries than RL

Marshall has been sacked at Salford. He’d be ideal as an assistant IMO.

Do you think a club would be willing or should be willing to let one of their key players and club captain when he is under contract for free?

Of course there would have to be something in return, financial or player movement to make the deal stack up for Trinity.

I think he means

Are we really going to pay a transfer fee for a player like Miller.

Rather than questioning why a fee needs to be paid. (That’s obvious).

We’ll probably do it with Hardaker but you’re right in that’s how clubs should operate. I don’t think they’d ask the earth for Miller but they’re absolutely right that they should get something to let him go. I doubt we’ll want to pay for him though and that could lead us elsewhere. The more I’ve thought about it, the more highlights I’ve watched and the more past performances against us I’ve thought back to, the more I’ve hoped it will come off. We’ve been starved of attacking entertainment this year and he is a good player to watch.
