Ironic because when Trinity played their best rugby under Chester it was when Chester took over from Brian Smith who had gone down the structured path and he let them play with freedom.
With Wane back at the helm officially next year I would worry though that his preferred style which is very structured wouldn’t bring out the best in a player like Miller.
Yeah, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with the coaching set up and how Peet wants his team to play. It would be nice to think he has his own ideas and not just has them but is allowed the free reign to implement them because if not, I’m not sure why Wane wouldn’t just be brought back in as head man.
I look at the side and I see talent more suited to off the cuff rugby already and that’s before you consider somebody like Miller. You have to have some structure in your play but guys like French, Hardaker, Smith, Bateman, Pearce-Paul etc would thrive in a style that allows them a bit of free reign, something similar to how Tony Smith gets his teams playing.
