There have been many better props than Bullock regardless of any perceived attitude problems he has and I find it a struggle to just put it down to Lam, as that’s too easy.
He was occasionally pretty good for short spells particularly when he looked to be fired up. Those occasions were few and far between and after a couple of drives he was blowing.
His defence was a major issue due to his lack of mobility and athleticism. He had the turning circle of the QE2 and might as well have a big target painted on him for particularly the scooting halves to go at.
He was a big and for his size fairly fast unit…but that was it. No pass in him, just very one dimensional.
Another player that for some reason came with a bit of hype but in reality was/is very average.
I personally would have had him behind Clarke and Partington in that prop department and I’m not particularly fond of them.
I’ve no issue with him going I just hope Wire have paid an inflated salary for him to get him.
I’ve actually no doubt he will come up with some big runs against us in the future but I don’t believe his weakness will improve, his lack of consistency and improvement has seen his time with us pass.
He’s not a novice anymore he is in his prime years now and still struggling with the same issues.
