The story reads like it was agreed he wouldn’t be allowed to speak to the Hull clubs, so who knows if they wanted him anyway. It says he was miffed they wouldn’t be options for him but that’s him taking the mick IMO. Don’t blame a commute and then be miffed you can’t talk to clubs with reasonably similar commutes.

If he leaves, then Fev is the most logical and sensible destination. Especially for us.

No one wants to pay a fee, no one wants to do a swap and it doesn't appear that he wants to be here either.

At least with Fev he ain't going to a top side.

I've pretty much got zero sympathy for Hardaker in this situation, but the commute would be twice as long to Wigan compared to Hull in rush hour. Going East from the other side of Leeds is a breeze compared to going west.

Pontefract to Hull is not a similar commute as Ponte to Wigan. To Hull 47 miles with very little traffic on a three lane motorway. Door to door in under 45 minutes.
