You missed my point.

No one knows who is sat around waiting to buy the club. No one knew IL wanted to buy us and hardly anyone, if anyone at all, knew Danson wanted to invest too. It's too simple to say "who's buying us" as some kind of trump card for everything.

Do I want IL to leave? On balance, I probably don't. I do however think that, if the club was up for sale, then we'd have a a few interested parties. Maybe that's me being optimistic tho.

The mentions of 'Mick The Oxford Fan' bring back memories of CPWigan on the other site and his constant 'Jack Gibson' references.

The thing with Mick the Oxford fan is that he’s comparing apples with crowbars. He said Lenagan would run us in to the ground like Oxford but Oxford in general terms have been a poor football side for decades and still are. Yes there may be the odd up and down but in the main they stutter along in the lower leagues and nobody really knows they exist (and I’m talking in football).

Wigan on the other hand were probably the 4th or 5th best side in the elite competition of Rugby League when Lenagan took over and they hadn’t won a trophy for about 6 years but Within 2 years he helped turn them in to league leaders and champions of the comp and followed that with cup wins in 2011 and a LLS shield in 2012, a double in 2013, Grand Final appearances in 2014 and 2015, a Grand Final win in 2016, followed by a world title and a cup final appearance in 2017, a Grand Final win in 2018, two semi finals in 2019, a LLS and a Grand Final appearance in 2020 and a relatively poor season in 2021, with just a 4th place finish, a cup quarter final and a play off exit. Nobody outside of rugby league really knows we exist either but it’s been an ever so slightly different reign for Lenagan at Wigan to that at Micks Oxford United, so with all due respect to Mick, he’s not got a clue what he’s going on about when it comes to Rugby League.

And I don’t even know who Mick is.

I'm not so sure, CP was capable of talking with a depth of knowledge about RL at points and on many occasions he was right, he did seem to have an almost online breakdown which was sad. Now about you being knowledgeable and right on occasions let me think nope don't recall

Anyone else seen that a chap called Chris Ashton is “unhappy” in rugby union and that he is “mysteriously” unavailable for his club...?
