I'd simply move heaven and earth to sign Dureau next season.

He's exactly what we need. With Finch OOC and Tommy moving on we've got the cap space to make it happen.

Dureau and Mellor
Dureau and Tomkins with Russell at FB

Both good options and both giving another youngster a shot but keeping some real quality to the side

I'd rather we keep Finch for another couple of years if possible and bring Mellor and/or Powell in to the squad to learn from Brett.
We have had the best U20s for years and they can bring their winning culture into the first team with them. Finch is into the system as are our younger players. Finch is a class stand off and these lads can learn a lot from him.
As for Dureau, Catalans will have first option as he's their player and I can't see Robinson allowing him to go seeing as he brings so much to their squad.

I agree, it would take two big signings to replace Finch and LuLu for us to be in contention for any thing.

Fair point but I still think we can do better.

Seriously though ABP? Smith and Leuluai are similar players? Not a chance.

If we lose both Finch and Leuluai then we are screwed next season IMO. We need to keep Finch and either sign Dureau or bring Mellor in. I would love to sign Dureau, he is still very young and could be here for years if we could get hold of him.
