We have clearly lost site of a strategy when it come to recruitment over the last few years.

The last thing we need to do is compound the issue further by signing players who are not of the quality we need on to 2-3 year contracts.

Most quality players have long since been signed up.

The NRL market is very challenging in the current Covid climate and domestically who is going to part with quality players?

Really annoying to see the likes of Mitchell Pearce, Fusitua, Sezer, Lussick, Brodie Croft and even Hunwicks the S&C guy from Catalans just completely pass us by. We're never even mentioned as an option when these rumours surface. Be lucky to get 5,000 season tickets at this rate.

Very lucky. I can't quite believe just how disinterested i am for the new season. I have NEVER not looked forward to a season before. Iv'e been underwhelmed before (especially the last 2 seasons) but for me to be thinking about not even watching it on the telly let alone go to the stadium is bad because i love rugby league. Watching my team quite deliberately self imploding is not something i want to do. With what we have now as a squad we are nowhere near the top 6 let alone challenging for anything.

To be honest there was a time under the previous regime when we were linked with everyone and that was equally as frustrating in a different way.

Just hope that we are able to bring in some proven quality for 2022 to help us to compete with Saints, Catalans who may well be even stronger.
