Correct, but what Coach, even Peet would have been a good fit at Wigan with the squad that he had during the last couple of seasons or so?

Peet has been made Coach and the club has backed him up by making what appears to be some better signings both on the playing and non playing side and some of the poorer player signings which were made a couple of seasons or so ago have left the club.

The confidence of many supporters about next season will be expressed in the sale of season tickets!

p.s. Millward was a far worse Coach as unlike Lam, he had a squad of better quality players which included Radlinski and nearly got the club relegated which was never the case with Lam.

As for this year's squad, 1st of all a lot of posters have been slagging the club off for the squad thisvyear and now after really what an only be said as 1 signing you didn't know about (Cust) your now saying its better than previous years, I don't know where to start.

Finally, are you saying that the signings of Bullock, Clarke, Hankinson etc who have all departed after only a couple of seasons or so were better than the signings for this season like Cust, Ellis, Mago, Minski, Silva, three of whom unlike the ones I have said, have had experience in the NRL.

If you recall, at the the time of the signings of Bullock, Clarke and Hankinson etc, I got shot down in flames by some on here which included yourself for saying the club was making poor signings.

The signings made for this season are a big improvement on what the club has signed in the last three seasons or so and more in line with what supporters expect at the club.

Hopefully, we will have a better season!

Granted, but look at some of the others who have come and gone in the past three seasons and in one more recent and notable case, chose not to return and instead go to another local club in spite of being a Wiganer!

No wonder, they asked Wane to return!
