McDonald is here to graft Leilua is a devastating player potentially but his head isn’t in it and hasn’t been for a number of seasons.

McDonald would improve Wigan straight away if we could get him (obviously we can’t due to quota) Leilua I don’t believe would.

It’s a mystery to me why Lam never went for more of the PNG lads at Wigan.

Awful injury that, not one you see much in RL, did Pat Richards get one in the GF that year?

I know in the NFL if a running back gets a torn Achilles that’s basically career over as their pace goes. Torn ACLs are easier to come back from.

Hopefully not the case as he is some talent and could even had been a shout for England in the World Cup.

Must admit didn't see him leave the pitch but there are a few saints fans commenting that he limped off the pitch rather than carried off/stretchered off as would be expected with achillies injury. Great player and a massive future potential thorn in our side but hope the injury isn't too serious long term.
