I have noticed that French, Farrell, Powell, Tommy, Bibby amongst others are out of contract at the end of the year, any murmurs on who will stay and go?
Farrell will surely be offered a new deal and stay? I’d imagine Powell will too?
French I think could maybe stay but he would be costing a lot of money for someone playing out of position, the word has always been it’s likely he will return home but I’m not sure he gets a starting gig in the NRL even though he’s a great player.
Tommy I didn’t understand why he got kept on for this season but I think he’s been playing really well before injury, if he comes back and hits that form maybe they keep him on for another year?
Bibby for all I don’t think he’s great, if his wage is cheap enough he’s a decent enough back up winger/centre but I feel we might let him go as Halsall will be better set to play more games next year.
