The quality will need to be on another planet in comparison to us signing guys like Dudson, Gelling, Flower and Lauaki for sure. The last 2 of those have been suprisingly good but all 4 have been signed with an element of risk and if we do need to replace 4 guys like Leuluai, Finch, Carmont and Lockers we simply can't take chances with replacements.
Ian Lenagan will have to look 'top end' if he wants us to compete and players like Ellis, Dureau, Reed etc etc would be the sort of signings the fans would demand.
Hopefully in reality we'll just be looking at replacing Leuluai and probably Carmont.
