Pearson always talks about money and issues, wants to get the fans in and get a better deal with the SMC (new Hull City owners). I don't think things are as bad as he makes out.

Plus we will be losing a huge amount of cap with Reynolds, Gale, Shaul, Ma'u, Bowden and Johnstone and possible Connor leaving. With us only bring maybe 4 players and promoting some academy players (as finally we are in the position to do that)

Really hope it happens as he is a fantastic player, but you can see why Wigan won't pay Marquee wages for him to play on the wing, while he would be first choice FB for Hull.

Yeah, we can’t keep a back up (which is what he currently is) on marquee wages, or even close to it, it’s bad business in a salary cap sport. I could see him ending up at Hull as I think his options will be limited in Oz with the standards of full backs, maybe the Dolphins? But that’s about it.

A few posts of Twitter claiming those two plus Dean Hawkins (Souths reserve scrum half) that would mean a brand new 1,6 and 7, which is a risk, but probably needed, would rather have Connor that Truman, but looks out of our hands that one.

Still doubt the French rumour, sounds too good to be true.

The most shocking rumour coming out of Hull is Connor to the NRL, I’m trying to work out where he gets a gig.

If he does go though French would be a great replacement. Would be tough to see him go to another SL side but you can’t blame him if they are willing to throw big money at him.

Going to be a very interesting offseason for us in regards who we recruit.

I expect Miski will get a starting position and a centre from the NRL will now be a priority.

He will need to improve on the form we saw before he departed for the NRL. Mind you, not much in terms of what we have seen in SL this season.

It’s not bad business if you are winning trophies.

Rugby league deserves to see both French and Field at full back every week.

Would be a shame for Bevan to a.) leave and b.) go to a rival SL club.

But as has been said we can’t offer massive money to a winger.

It's a funny one Jon, I'm a big Connor fan and think he is an excellent SL player, but think his lack of pace will be his downfall in the NRL, too slow for FB and maybe stand off.

Maybe centre, but I know he isn't a fan of that position. Bennett is a big fan and he did well under him for GB at both 6 and centre, so maybe he will end up there.

Wouldn't be a bad move as not sure the Dolphins wouldn't have too much pressure for the first couple of seasons.
