The one I read quoted Peer saying he was under contract for next year and quoted a so called best agent in the world (can’t remember the name) saying he’d be shocked if Wigan didn’t take the cash or the swap deal on offer.

I think that was the love rugby league article. He seemed to go in to more detail in the WEP article. I still wouldn’t take it as gospel that things cannot change but we certainly seem to be able to put the rumours to bed that it’s all sorted that he’s going for 2023.

I believe he is contracted until the end of next season.

That would be some signing, even bigger given Huddersfield appear to be on the rise as well.

His injury record would worry me but he’s a class act. I wonder if he’s unhappy there? When fit he seems to be seen as back up to Cudjoe and Leutele so far this season and with Bibby going there next season, it looks like that competition for a place isn’t going anywhere.

The same source that told me about Cooper mate; which I posted on this thread 5 days before the RL media got the story and a couple of weeks before Wigan announced.

Hoping it’s true. I was wondering how Hudds were going to fit Bibby/Wardle/Leutele/Cudjoe but this might be how.

Noticed he’s been playing out on the wing this year at times.

I’d see it as a Bateman/Sarginson style signing. Promising young player who joins one of the very top SL clubs (no disrespect to Hudds who are moving in the right direction).
