Wasn't sure where to post this but opted for here;

Just been told Fielden has been told he can't play RL again. He will retire.

Mossy may require an opp on his ankle. Complications have arisen this week.

Not gospel but as ever thought you guys would like to know the 'suggestions' given to me

well i hope we get another prop or seeing how dudson get on with a game. i am sure he will get one now the injuries and no doubt ban for the big luaki

Fielden's ankle operation was not a success and therefore he has gone under the knife again. He has a comeback date of August.

Mossop is hopeful of playing next week.

Still pretty much writes off Fielden's Wigan career if he's only estimated at being back in August. Wouldn't see him being given a chance to build his form back if its that late and therefore he has no hope of a new contract. Real blow - I think we really needed Fielden as a player and a leader this year.

He had a bad knee last year then tore his pectoral muscle to keep him sidelined at the end of last year and is now struggling with his knee again according to Wane.

Not heard anything about his ankle. His injury problems are ending any chances he had of us keeping him on sadly and we need to be looking at investing his salary on a new forward. I'd love to see us go after Larne Patrick but that seems unlikely as I read he's close to agreeing a new deal at Huddersfield.

I apologise, you are quite right, I was mixing Mossop's injury up with Fielden's. But his last op was unsuccessful and he has gone under the knife again.
