The more I read your posts the more I become convinced that you aren't actually a Wigan supporter. All you seem to want to do is criticise the club and run it down.

You've been very easily led here.

At the very least, Edwards lied to Wales. But he also told a whole load of porkies to the watching world when he happily attended that Wigan press conference and spoke of fulfilling his dream etc.

Wigan may well have been too trusting with him. But it's looking increasingly like Shaun Edwards is a bit of a grub.

I’ll admit I jumped on a high horse yesterday but we all need to wait until the FACTS are released. Maybe the club has been naive or inept, maybe SE had played the club like a fiddle, maybe Brexit will happen in 20yrs - who knows?

If you are waiting for the full facts to emerge into the public arena, I wouldn't hold your breath.

That said, decisions need to be made about where we are going, coach-wise. And soonish.

Exactly. There isn't going to be any trust between them. Best sever the idea and get on to sorting something now for 2020.

Sadly I think you’ll be right but surely the club and SE must realise and appreciate that speculation amongst fans and the media is very damaging to their respective images.

If Edwards wanted his contract to sign because the Wigan club was slow in producing it. He should call the club as talk to someone, not tell journalists in a press conference.

In the past, I’ve agreed on contracts with companies and started before the contract was drawn up. In one job after about 5 months I needed to remind them I didn’t have my contract yet. I had started was being paid what we agreed. All this was done privately because that is the way to do it.

There is no reason to go public unless you want out and are trying to not look like you are at fault.

Easily led by wanting to wait for the whole story to come out?

We have no idea what has gone on behind the scenes. Both sides are acting like they are in the dark. Both sides can be accused of lying or as you put it being grubs. May i remind you that the club told the world that Edwards had signed a 3 year contract.

I think this has come from the fans wanting clarification , facts have been stated and it 'could' all still play out as intended , as a Wiganer a verbal contract might have been good enough in IL and SE eyes , its possibly an out of work Edwards who wants to get the contract signed , if someone at Wales asked him if he was taking over he could have said no and been correct , because until he put pen to paper then hes right. might just be a storm in a teacup.
