Just seen a rumour on FoxSport and it’s that Newcastle are going to go for Reuben Garrick from Manly and switch Ponga to the halves, if this happens it could potentially mean no room for French? Although it could potentially be unrelated if they want French to play wing. Just thought I would share.

I've also seen them linked with Gamble, who's a HB. That would mean Ponga sticking at FB. Seems like nothing is a "done deal".
