I often wonder if he is in fact former member and attention seeker called Turf, though there does seem to be a lack of obsession with bus drivers and swimming pool lifeguards so I could be wrong

Its been confirmed by Barry Toohey from the Newcastle Herald that French will play for the Knights next year.

The other issue it presents (other than the obvious one of losing a star player) is the lack of fullback cover. We'll go from having Field, French and Hardaker as viable options to having Field with no viable backup.

Assuming King and Wardle are replacements for Bibby and Hardaker, I wonder if/how we will use the final quota spot.

Suppose it depends if French’s wage is covering King and potentially Wardle? If not and we have his wage to spend then you would imagine we would be looking for a utility back who can cover full back and wing, unless someone like Thompson hits the market and we use it on him.

With you having signed king on loan for 2023 that’s a sizeable chunk you will be paying wire as he’s on a huge contract.
Wardle is still contracted to Huddersfield for 2023 so if you want him you will have to pay for him, and as a current England international he won’t be going to you cheap. Given wardle spent over two years injured on the sidelines and we gave him a renewed contract in that time I would expect the club will want some return. and I would hope wardle feels some loyalty.
Given leutele is going wardle may feel that staying is a better option than previously as he will be more likely to get the game time now.
Certainly wardle is a better prospect than bibby and if that’s the swap that happens I won’t be happy with it.

Wigan havent signed Wardle and arent doing so dont worry

100% it was a done deal 2 weeks ago.

Done around the time of his England debut.

As I said this was 100% the case as of 2 weeks ago. The only way I can see it changing is if Wigan and Warrington have come to an agreement over the King deal, but I’d doubt that is the case.

Not questioning anyones right right to call anyone out - this is a discussion forum.
I find Dan's postings as entertaining as any others and I don't see them as being any more or less damaging than any other poster's speculation.
