Agreed, but...

I was gutted when Newton left.

I was gutted when Faz left.

I was gutted when Trent left.

I was gutted when Sam left x2.

I could go on and others could go back 60+ years too. It's sport and people leave. We'll move on and continue to challenge. It's what we've always done.

Yip, i don't think there is any hope now. He is gone. Pity he wasted 2 years under Lam. Nothing against Miski but after having French on that wing this season i want another absolute flyer out there. Let Miski go aswel as Isa and try and find another Bevan out there. Either that or give Cas some money and get Quare-quare in. He will be a star.

We've all known for a while that he'll be going. It's painful, because he's a special player. But my feeling now is that it should be made public knowledge.

French is clearly prepared to play out the rest of 2022 to the best of his ability. But continued speculation around him, and non-stop questions from the press will become a distraction at some point.

For me, just announce it and let us enjoy the time we have left with him.

Completely agree.

However we know that Wigan like to offset bad news with good so I’m assuming we have more than just Wardle up our sleeve.

Save the quota spot and go for Murphy. Might have to stump up some cash for him but he’s looking good

As of last night still no decision made. Wigan are giving him as much time as possible to make a decision. It hasn’t got to the point where he has been given a deadline either.

Field, Thornley/Miski, Wardle, King & Marshall

I’ve been fairly certain he’ll go since the initial Knights link. I’m guessing that journo knows his stuff.
