I did wonder if the King move may have jeopardised it due to some deal being struck in the background but that clearly not the case after the latest whinge from Powell.

Looks like Watson as spit the dummy out because he could not get King says he is definitely coming back to Huddersfield.

O`Loughlin`s son is a Wigan Scholarship player, so maybe he has just signed to play for Wigan Academy?

Posting this in here as it is total speculation on my part and doesn’t deserve to derail the Tommy thread.

I stress again this is total speculation and I could be putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 58.

With TL retiring that leaves us with very little cover in the halves if we get an injury.

If he get an injury the choice of who steps forward is obviously Field.

If Field steps forward we literally have no cover at fullback.

Could TL retiring indicate French has decided to stay?!

Pure speculation and grasping at straws but it would kind of add up…at least in my head anyway!

Tommy's salary will come off the club's cap figure. So if Bevan stays and the current players get their salary upgrades then that money may well now be available.
I do hope Jonh's right, he's speculating as he admits but speculation can sure be interesting.
