Huddersfield just announced the signing of centre Esan Marsters from Gold Coast. Wonder what that means for the Bibby/Wardle rumours?

I'm sure we will end up with either Wardle or Whare. There's no way we can go into next season with Thornley and King and backups of Halsall and Isa...

Naiquama, Marsters and Bibby joining and Cudjoe going round again.

Wardle certainly won’t be there next year despite what they are saying.

Halsall should be in our team, at centre, before Isa or KPP.

Don’t think there would be much argument against that.

KPP has done an admirable job at Centre but it’s at back row where he belongs.

You would have to think the Marsters deal has been done for some time so it's a very interesting time to announce it, i.e - the day after our season has ended. No way Wardle is staying now. Keep your eyes peeled for a Wardle announcement in the coming days by Huddersfield. It's the classic Wigan ploy, announce a signing to negate an imminent departure.

He’s had his chances and so far not taken them.

I’m not saying he won’t in the future but he hasn’t delivered so far for Wigan.

I have not seen KPP or Isa deliver in the centres so, in my view, we should have persevered with Halsall. At least the lad has some pace, unlike the other two.

Just this second been told from a pretty solid source that the interest in Bateman from Aus is bang on and he thinks that he wants to go.
