Squad looks fairly complete, would like a hard-running second row option though in an ideal world.

Feels like that might be the case but whilst he’s on the books, you never know.

I think it has, but he's an option for a 5th choice winger. The point was more to prove that A we've got depth and B - we don't need more cover. I doubt many teams actually have a 5th choice over, nevermind one with potential like Hanley.

Also Wardle could do it with other options at Centre to take his place if we need him to

Yeah I think we've got plenty of, not just cover, but quality competition too. If a HB isn't performing, then Field to 6 and French to 1 is something you can easily see happening.

I think we need to stick with him for a while longer yet, it would be useful if we could loan him out for 12 months.

I am not convinced that there will not be more ins and outs.

Sadly the problem Hanley has is that he hasn’t received a decent offer elsewhere, otherwise he would be gone.

Is he just fb it could he be brought in as a backup half

I’d like to see him get a gig in the halves so that we can see his level of creativity.

I've watched Hanley plenty times, has done nothing to stand out in the reserves. He is an athlete but often goes missing during games.
