I am sure Peet will pick on availability and form - so however is playing best will get in the side, if King isn't performing then he will not play which should act as an incentive. At least we will have three actual centres which is a big improvement over recent years. For me Thornley is the weaker link for the reason his injury record is so bad. I suspect that both King and Thornley are not long term options and Wigan will look for some one else after next season as a longer term option.

by looking on the Leeds forum, none of the Leeds fans have any idea what that cryptic post meant

it looks like someone who thinks they have a scoop, but left it so vague it could mean anything and includes half the clubs in super league . Gues we need to wait until Thursday to see if Leeds announce anything

What do you mean?

Edit: Sorry you mean Gildart to Wigan in 2024 - yes possibly but you'd assume that he'd only come back if he didn't play well at the Dolphins and would we want him back if that was the case?

I haven’t personally watched any Ireland games but I know he got in the Superleague team of the round in the first round of fixtures, obviously not a massive amount of competition but he couldn’t have been that bad to get in surely?

He hasn’t been at all.

It’s the standard response if someone isn’t happy with a player to bag them regardless.

His pace or lack of has been noticeable but rest of his game has been sound if not spectacular.

There wasn't even any clarity who this 'upcoming development' is supposed to be ominous for.

It isn't regardless tho is it. He has been poor in defence & has been for a while now. It's one (not all) of the reasons why he got shipped out by Wire.

I’m just trying to get the best team out there. You know, obviously, I left Toby (King) out. I feel like he’s been below his best for a few weeks now. And I felt like that needed to happen to change that left edge. I felt like the left edge was pretty stiff.

Powell said that, the week before he shipped him out & that matches up with the woeful performances he produced, including us sending Thornley at him at their place for a couple of tries.

Not sure what his lack of pace has to do with anything too? Carmont was probably the best centre we've had in the last 15 years and he was hardly 'pacey'. If King has a decent offload, like you suggest then his pace shouldn't matter.

Blowing smoke up his booty, because he now plays for us doesn't help anyone. There's no recent credit in the bank with King and he's got a lot of work to do to erase his form over the last 18 months.
