I haven't heard anything but it's certainly something that has crossed my mind with him being out of contract. He's good enough if he wants the challenge.

Does anyone think wales bad boy GAVIN henson is worth a punt at age 29 / 30. He has today been sacked by cardiff and is available on a free. Would make a good centre

I'd imagine he's the sort of 'RU royalty' who'll think he's worth at least 170K a year, so the answer is a resounding 'no'. If he was prepared to come for 20K a year, perhaps we could talk business.

Think of the Wales link which we're so strongly trying to gain at the moment.

Ok, he isn't Wales' favourite son at the moment but a few quiet months and good behaviour & performance would do the world of good. Sport is a funny world.

(not saying I WOULD have him, straight off, mind)

Henson won't be on anyone's mind at Wigan.
If we are to make signings then we need experienced players. We have young talented players for most positions but we do need to bring in one or two experience men.

I hope a league team does sign him up. Purely so i can laugh at my mate who is convinced he would be a world beater in RL.

He has neither the heart, determination or bottle to play Rugby Onion. He would get pasted weekly in our code.
