Don’t forget that NRL players get a motor vehicle allowance which is outside the salary cap and they can earn an unlimited amount of money from sponsorship.

I forgot that the minimum wage is currently around £65k and likely to rise as a consequence of a player dispute.

so we had 3 with Bateman before he went?...like I said, I dont think they were signed as marquee, they can just be declared as such as they are probably our highest earners now

Each passing week JWH's potential value increases. He's killing it at the moment for the Roosters. I really hope we're in for him, he'd be huge for us.
